    Coach (Jerry) Sutterfield; HP Girls Track and CC. He’s not only the best coach I ever had, but the best educator. Highland Park is lucky to have him.

    Totally agree on Jerry Sutterfield — teaches kids to live with honor, self-discipline and hard work.

    I also agree on Coach Sutterfield, although he was coaching boys track when I was there.

    I was lucky enough to run for both Jim Mouser and Jerry Sutterfield at Highland Park. Both made HUGE impact on how I moved through high school and who I am today.

    Beth Davis (at HPMS) coached my 7th and 8th grade basketball teams back in the 1980’s, and now she has coached my oldest child. Coach Davis was such a positive role model for me, my friends and now has additionally been a special part of my daughter’s life too. She’s the reason I played sports and now coach at the YMCA. I hope she’s around for the next two daughters, but since she never ages, I imagine she will be.
