You Have Another Month to Put Out Your Limbs

Following the snowstorm, the city of University Park announced that it would waive its usual fees for collecting tree limbs through Feb. 24. But city spokesman Steve Mace just informed me that, due to the sheer volume of broken branches, the grace period has been extended until March 24.

    Will they be coming through alleys to pick up limbs? My back alley neighbor took down a tree and stacked it up behind my fence in the alley. I don’t mind as long as it will be picked up, but I don’t want to be the one to have to figure out what to do with it if it’s not.
