Home Opener Moved Up

After winning the Round Rock Westwood Tournament last week, the Highland Park baseball team will play its home opener against Bishop Lynch at 4:30 this afternoon at Scotland Yard. The game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Scots were also originally scheduled to open the season against Duncanville at home last Tuesday, but bad weather forced the cancellation of that contest.

HP (4-1) beat Fort Worth Southwest Christian, Pflugerville, Magnolia, and Lake Travis in the Westwood tourney. The only loss for the Scots was to the host Warriors.
