New “Breastaurant” to Open on McKinney Avenue

Posted on March 15th, 2010 by Joanna England | Filed under Blog, Highland Park

If you check out the restaurant’s logo, you know what I mean.

Pegasusnews.com’s food critic Teresa Gubbins has the dirt on the new joint:

“Imagine Twin Peaks but more Highland Park-friendly and a burger concept,” says manager Corrie Loftin.

Oh, and they’re looking to franchise.

I was less than impressed. Barely any new decor. Burgers and fries were basic and boring. Pricing was reasonable enough, cheeseburger and fries for $10, fries were enough for two people.

Franchising? Doesn’t franchising require a concept? I saw nothing new. Cute girls in short shorts and tight tops serving hamburgers. Outside of the cute burger girl sign,
I didn’t see anything original or brandable.
