I agree w/Southern...Soupman is ridiculously overpriced. Those prices and service may go over well in Manhattan, but here in Dallas...would it hurt for you to smile a little when serving me my $22 bowl of soup? Is that too much to ask? Apparently, it is..

We just stopped by the Soupman the other night before seeing a movie as well. We ordered two large bowls of soup and were going to split a drink. The price, she told us before she ladled the soup, was going to be $22!! For two soups and one drink?? No thank you.

That place is ridiculous!

I was completely 'eh' about the whole movie. And I agree with the whole headache thing regarding 3-d. Does anyone know if it's worse if you have to wear the 3d glasses over your own presciption eyeglasses?

Alice wasn't made to be shown in 3d. That's the problem with these movies is that the studios do it as an afterthought. Until all 3d content is created to be seen in 3d (and i don't see that happening any time soon) it won't get any better.

Charles, If I recommend a movie for my kids to watch, the first thing out of their mouths (condescendingly, I might add) is "black and white, or color?". If I tell them it's black and white their eyes glaze over and they lose all focus. They cannot comprehend black and white TV. Yes, we are getting to old.
