The Highland Park baseball team can secure its 10th straight playoff berth tonight with a win over rival Pearce. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Richardson.

The Scots (20-7-1, 8-1) are just one game behind first-place Rockwall-Heath (28-0, 9-0) in the district standings. However, HP is four games ahead of fifth-place Pearce (11-8, 4-5) heading into tonight. With a win, the Scots would be five games up on the Mustangs with four games left in the regular season.

Since losing to Heath on April 1, the Scots have won three straight games. HP beat Pearce, 10-2, on March 19.
