Principle’s Parking Space is Causing Quite a Stir

Several readers have sent various angles of this sign in front of University Park Elementary School. One points out the irony of the blue ribbon recognition in the background, another says they probably don’t start spelling lessons until week 2.

I mean, nevermind that it’s painted on the curb below.

    No no no. The sign just got turned around. That spot on the sidewalk is where the Aristotle Club meets to talk First Principles. Perfectly OK.

    To our student who helped out by making the sign: We wouldn’t have teased if we knew it was your sign. Every young student needs plenty of practice to tell these words apart. (So now you’re ahead of the game!) We were only teasing because we thought a mom or a teacher made your sign. Sorry!
