In Case You Can’t Make it to Highlander…

As your trusty sports editor, I feel like it’s my duty to keep you apprised of all of the sports happenings that have a Park Cities connection.

In case you can’t make it to the Highland Park-Monterrey (Mexico) Tec game at Highlander Stadium tomorrow night, where I will be, you could mosey out to the Cotton Bowl and check out the Lingerie League season opener between the Dallas Desire and the San Diego Seduction. After all, Dallas only has two home games in the brutally-long four-game season.

The Park Cities tie? Word is the Desire have been practicing at Germany Park and at Goar Park. Has anybody out there been fortunate enough to witness this?

    This is really a blow to women. You know, maybe it would be cute in Las Vegas or Miami, but this is a family neighborhood. Don’t promote these _____!

    Yes, I witnessed this team practicing at Fairfax park when all of the Y teams started practice for football. This team took up the center portion of the park pushing aside all of the boy football teams. I thought it was awful! I hope they stop practicing on PC fields.

    @goodgirl. OMG! What next preventing unaccompanied men from using the parks? Oh wait I forgot only families are allowed to use the parks and pool in the Park Cities or someone will call the cops. Maybe the best thing is to call the cops and tell them what’s going on with these awful women. Problem is the cops will show up, stay to watch practice and forget to arrest them.

    Just remember only families are acceptable in the Park Cities.

    I think anon has a great idea, and I would like to coach the Hyer moms.

    As for the Dallas Desire, I thought of three different things to say about the tight end position and rejected each of them. Darn internal censor.

    Charles – that ‘internal censor’ is called a conscience. Glad to hear your’s still has a heartbeat.

    Wow – the things they can do these days with photoshop is amazing! The real heads and cartoon bodies almost look lifelike.
