Mr. and Mrs. John Kelly Thompson of El Paso are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Sharon Eileen Thompson, to Dr. Brian Richard Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Richard Davis of University Park.
The bride graduated from Coronado High School in El Paso and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Texas at El Paso, a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health, and a doctoral degree from the University of New Mexico. She is an Associate Professor of Public Health Sciences in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso.
The groom is a graduate of Highland Park High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Austin College, a Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed a General Surgery Residency and Fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor and Associate Resident Program Director in the Department of Surgery at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine.
The couple plan to wed Dec. 4 at St. Francis on the Hill in El Paso.
