Park Lane to Add 3 Stores After Adding 3 Words
Dick's was one of the original tenants at Park Lane, before it became The Shops at Park Lane.
When I toured the new Park Lane development across from NorthPark in the spring of 2009, I remember asking the folks involved, “You’re calling it simply ‘Park Lane’ — even though that’s the name of a nearby street? Won’t that be confusing?”
A year-and-a-half later, it appears that my concerns have been addressed. I got a press release this week announcing that Old Navy, Ulta Cosmetics, and Carters will be opening this fall at “The Shops at Park Lane.” When I asked the publicist if that was an official name change for the development, she said yes, for exactly the reason I cited.
