Ha! When our neighbor called to tell us about the orange towing notice, our first thought was, “well, we’re not going back there anyway…”. The view from our terrace in Sonoma was that awesome.

Came home yesterday, truck is still where we left it. It is a state law that forbids leaving a vehicle in the same place on the street for more than 24 hours. I’ve heard before that UP will cut residents some slack on this if they are informed of circumstances. That’s a good thing because I know several families with up to 6 cars each who couldn’t possibly put them all in the driveway while on vacation.

and i do wish that our neighbors could park those 6 cars properly (lots of ‘parking like a girl’) It was so bad Saturday night I had to back down the street because i couldn’t get through – should have called the police!
