I feel for the Huddleston family, my near miss occurred while biking when a 40 something wearing an iPod abruptly decided to make a u turn in front of me. I don't know who screamed louder, she or I. She kept going in her new direction with no apology or recognition of culpability. Still, the outcome could have been trAgic

My friend and I were biking down the trail and came upon a 20 something, preppy looking guy exposing himself on the trail. When we turned around and were coming back he was STILL there doing the same thing. I asked him if his mother knew what he was doing! We rode a little further and their was a policeman on his bike. He swiftly rode away with his apologies..... Gotta be careful on the Katy!

About 3 years ago, a girlfriend & I were walking the Trail on a weekday morning, around 9:30AM. We had both stupidly forgotten our cell phones in the car. The only person nearby was a man jogging behind us. Suddenly (in front of us), a young man comes climbing over the railing from the path below (this was close to the AA Center, on a bridge over a busy street) and he's stuffing a huge gun down the waistband of his pants. We both stop, stare and he does the same. We turn around instantly just as the man behind us said, "OMG, does that guy have a gun??" We said "yes" and suggested he quickly vacate the area with us. Next person we saw had a cell phone and we called 911. Creepy. We were really idiots to forget the phones.
