We always made sure we worked our way over to Beverly, from Hillcrest towards Preston for a few blocks. My nephews that live in another burb of Dallas always came to go trick or treating with my son in Highland Park. My one little chocoholic nephew always said that HP was the most chocolate dense trick or treating zone in the world – meaning they handed out awesome candy with a high percentage of chocolate. On Beverly there were usually a few really decorated front yards with some haunted house aspects going on – it made up for the fact that it’s a bit of a hike on that street between houses! My preferences are 5+ years old though.

How about the window at Electric Boutique on Greenville north of Rusty Taco. Driven past it a few times but have not stopped to look at it. There is a naked mannequin covered in blood, in some kind of semi-prone position with a nurse or two standing over it, with blood splattered all over the display. I think. Hard to get a good look driving by. Looks kind of like a scene out of Dexter.
