Stafford Back With a Bang
After missing most of the season with an injury he sustained in the season opener, former Scots Matthew Stafford returned to the Detroit Lions yesterday and guided them to a 37-25 home win over Washington.
Stafford was 26 of 45 for 212 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. Calvin Johnson caught three of those touchdowns.
The Lions (2-5) will play host to the New York Jets on Sunday.
