Pearce Volleyball Team is Not to be Trifled With

Do you see Dan's reflection in this picture of a picture?
As far as Scots fans are concerned, I live behind enemy lines — in other words, in the Pearce High School attendance zone. Assuming I don’t move in the next dozen years, my sons will grow up to be Mustangs.
During a recent grocery shopping trip, I couldn’t help but notice the poster for the Pearce volleyball team — the one on which they’re all wearing tank tops, combat boots, and Daisy Dukes. Wow.
Should the Lady Scots win their playoff game against Red Oak on Friday night, Highland Park will most likely get another shot at these tough broads in the regional final on Saturday.

With that question answered I think that the pic is a tad bit exploitive for a high school-sanctioned poster.
With that having been said, I think this is a bit exploitive for a school-sponsored poster.
My apologies in advance if this comment shows up more than once.
“My kids are under strict orders: End the bullying by any means necessary.
If they see it being done, confront it, end it.
Case in point: some genius was making fun of a special needs kid in elem last year. I was proud when a mom called my wife and said she saw one of my boys end it. No wiggle room. No excuses. END. IT.”
Um, yeah. Case in point: some genius was making fun of a bunch of 16-18 year old, high school athletes in this post. I was shocked it was the same person that said that…
In bad taste – definitely
It would be great to have a large HP contingent at HPHS VB’s play-off games on Friday and hopefully, Saturday. The game on Friday is at 6PM at Sachse HS vs. Red Oak. And yes, I know there’s a football game too, but you can make both. The football game doesn’t start until 7:30P. Besides, when was the last time you saw more than 50% of the crowd arrive before the 2nd quarter at an HP game?
Assuming both HP and JJPearce win on Friday night, they would play each other on Saturday at 4P at Garland Special Events center.
I think the hyper-sexualization of our culture in the last 30 years or so has resulted in underage girls who present themselves as sexual beings first, and persons of any substance second. It depresses me.
Yes, my choice of words was awful, but c’mon! I would blow up if my daughter came home with this. I was not making fun of anyone, just pointing out(poorly) the absurdity of the picture.
I think all of the girls are beautiful, but not in a “Creep Dad” kind of way.
