Scots Roast Titans in Bi-District

The Highland Park football team took advantage of five Frisco Centennial turnovers on its way to a 49-7 whipping of the Titans in a Class 4A Division II bi-district game on Friday night at Carrollton’s Standridge Stadium.

The Scots (11-0) will take on Hillcrest (8-2) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Highlander Stadium.

Against Centennial (6-5), Highland Park had more than 500 yards of total offense. Quarterback Jake Howeth rushed for two touchdowns and threw for two more. For the third straight week, Highland Park also got a defensive touchdown.
