Campbell Times Three
I already thought I was trapped in a scene from “Airplane” when I went to a signing day event at Highland Park on Thursday afternoon. All three lacrosse players signing had Campbell in their names — Campbell Puckett (Quinnipiac), Campbell Sode (Rutgers), and Patrick Campbell (Dartmouth).
Then, as God as my witness, one of the kids on hand to watch the signing was wearing a blue “Airplane” T-shirt that read: “I am serious… And don’t call me Shirley.”
