Does HPHS Still Have a Ticket Club?

Earlier this week, the hosts of the Ticket’s Dunham & Miller show were discussing Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. George Dunham said he met Stafford when he spoke to Highland Park High School’s Ticket Club during Stafford’s sophomore year.

Does such a club still exist? And what are/were the club’s meetings like? Do/Did members simply discuss their favorite bits on America’s favorite radio station?

I was at HPHS when the club started, around 2002…I can remember at least twice while I was still in school when guys from the Ticket shows came up during “club days” and talked sports & bits. Stafford was a Freshman when I was a Sr. so it kept going after I left but not sure if it still is or if club days even exist anymore.

Yes, there is still a Ticket Club. We are having our first annual reunion party at Barley House on SMU blvd. this Friday. Bring your A-game.
