Coincidentally, Poteet just took a 14-7 lead on the Scots in the second quarter.

Funny thing about that sign: The Poteet drill team includes a guy. As he and the rest of the team marched onto the field, I could hear Scots fans yelling, “What are you doing? You’re a dude!” When the entire team jumped up and landed in the splits (including the guy), the entire section behind me groaned in unison.

Yeah, I can’t believe President Obama let a boy be on a high school drill team. What is this country coming to?

My comment to the “Real Men Don’t Wear Skirts” was “Real men apparently wear green spandex and silver sequins and dance in the drill team.”
