Check Out the New Fro-Yo Competition For Free

We mentioned that Yumilicious Frozen Yogurt would take over the former Great Harvest Bread Company outpost in Snider Plaza back in October. We asked longtime Snider Plaza fro-yo pusher Max Fuqua if the new competition was a threat to Plaza Health Foods. At that time, in the comments, Fuqua said “Competition is the American way!”

Well, now’s your chance to do a little comparison tasting. Yumilicious Snider Plaza will celebrate its grand opening on Dec. 10 with free yogurt from 5 to 9 p.m. and a visit from Project Runway star Shirin Askari.

The new Yumilicious location, the company’s eighth, touts 16 flavors (avocado?) and 40 toppings. The event will feature a raffle for a year’s worth of frozen yogurt, T shirts, gift cards, and more.

    Yumilicious ROCKS! We were there on day one of their opening a couple weeks ago and it is delicious. Every flavor we tried was amazing – and the toppings – over the top. Plus the place has a great vibe and big screen tvs.
    Kids are begging to go back

    This is my favorite of all the frozen yogurt places. We’ve been watching the store build out with much anticipation. My love of desserts is rivaled only by my love of reality TV shows. This has all the makings of a magical night for me! I will see you there!

    Who needs to try their yogurt? There is no way that anyone could top Max’s generosity. My children have all claimed his freebies throughout the years and his kindness when they went in to collect free yogurt has totally created huge loyalty.
