Nancy Nichols, food critic for Park Cities People‘s corporate big brother, has cast her critical eye toward Snider Plaza’s Dive Coastal Cuisine. “We enjoyed the Park Cities people-watching as we sipped a wheaty Pyramid Hefeweizen,” Nichols writes, “but the fun stopped when the food arrived.” Ouch.

    This is funny to hear because to today at my child’s elementary another mom was telling me her family had tried this place and loved it! She highly recommended it and was even calling in an order to go for her lunch today because she enjoyed it so much. Now, a group of friends and I decided to go on Friday, so I guess I will find out!

    I thought that was funny too! My daughter and I have eaten there twice and also loved it! We have had, between us, the scallops, one of the large salads, and the fish tacos. All were so delicious! I might have the opposite feeling of the reviewer – I thought the lighting was a little harsh but the food great and presented beautifully! I guess some people are just grumpy!
