‘Lieutenant Dan’ on the Hilltop

SMU fans who were upset with the Mustangs’ 16-14 loss to Army in the Armed Forces Bowl on Dec. 30 at Ford Stadium were treated to a little bit of solace after the game.

Actor Gary Sinise, best known for his role as Lieutenant Dan in Forest Gump, and his band, the Lieutenant Dan Band, played a postgame concert right outside of the stadium.

Sinise plays bass in the band, which does a wide range of cover tunes. Good stuff.
