Ponies Hosting Ole Miss Tonight

The SMU men’s basketball team will wrap up non-conference play with a 7 p.m. game against Ole Miss at Moody Coliseum tonight.

The Mustangs (9-4) are looking for their fifth straight victory, but the Rebels (11-3) will provide a tough test for head coach Matt Doherty’s team.

SMU has also won seven straight home games, and the Ponies are off to their best start since the 2006-07 season.

Pay no attention to the fact that SMU hasn’t beaten a decent team in a decade… As a long suffering SMU hoops fan, “Coach Doh must go!”

GO REBS! Being married to an SMU alum, I’ve been to lots of SMU football and basketball games. I bet there will be more Rebel fans there than Ponies. Sad

I think it was pretty even… maybe a few more Ole Miss fans. The Ole Miss fans were louder and lots of “Hotty Toddy” cheers!
