Buddy Macatee Has an Eagle’s Eyes, Ctd.

The mystery of the Dallas mayor mix-up has been solved!

The photo hanging in Dallas City Hall that for years has been assumed to be the late Dallas Mayor Woodall Rodgers is actually the late Henry C. Beck Jr. That is until Park Cities People‘s own Buddy “Hercule Poirot” Macatee got on the case!

UPDATE: Just heard from Dallas City Archivist John H. Slate, who reports,

“The mistake was made by Gittings Studio, who provided the City of Dallas the wrong negative in approximately 1992.”
