Matthew Stafford Was Here, Ctd.

A solid decade went by without anyone claiming responsibility for Stafford’s old textbook at Highland Park Middle School but now a few current Raiders are stepping up to honor the alum’s legacy. Don’t worry, I saved the unedited photo copy just in case Jackson, Jeffrey, Michael or Kevin go pro.

So, did Stafford list the year as “0001?” Because it seems unlikely that he used the book at that time.

This is like when John Hinckley’s textbooks started appearing at HPHS after he became ‘famous’. Most of them were fakes. It is awfully easy to write a name in a book, after all.

Why, Charles? He was at HPMS in the 00-01 school year.

Oh, it’s just a quibble about the way it’s written: “0001,” with no dashes or such.

I see a dash. Need your readers.

Hm, hpparent, I think you’re exactly right. I take it back. In fact, I’ll apologize to Stafford by picking him next season in my fantasy football draft.
