Kershaw Inks Deal

Clayton Kershaw certainly isn’t going to be making the kind of money fellow former Scot Matthew Stafford is making any time soon, but he’s not exactly strapped for cash.

Kershaw, who will be the Opening Day starter for the Los Angeles Dodgers, signed a one-year contract for $500,000 on Wednesday. Pretty sweet deal for the Dodgers, if you ask me.

Kershaw went 13-10 with a 2.91 ERA and 212 strikeouts. He also got married in December, so double congratulations to Clayton.

What a steal. He’s their opening day starter for crying out loud. LA’s finances make Hicks’ seem sound.

He’s worth three times that, at least.
