HP Crew Goes For Gold at Regatta
At the end of the March 5 and 6 Heart of Texas Regatta in Austin, three Highland Park Crew teams took home gold medals.
In the Junior Women’s four-plus category, Brooke Koonsman, Savannah Smith, Sarah Baldwin, and Lauren Pepe with coxswain Tiffany Work (pictured) took first with a time of 3:57. In the Men’s Junior four-plus category, Hunter Litz, John Willems, Brady Britten, and Craig Thiebaud with coxswain Tiffany Work won gold with a time of 3:21. Andrew Hanson, Nando Cortes, Cameron Keith, Dany Cortes, Joe Beeby, Luis Estrada, Sam Crofford, and Will Kalescky with coxswain Tiffany Work also took gold in the Men’s Junior Lightweight eight-plus event.
HP rowers also won second and third place in five other events. Congrats, guys!
