Dallas Man Arrested For UP Burglary

A Dallas man was arrested today for a March 9 burglary on Southwestern Boulevard.

Robert Villareal was spotted today in a 2011 Range Rover that he allegedly stole during the burglary, University Park spokesman Steve Mace said in a statement. Villareal allegedly broke into a house in the 4200 block of Southwestern Boulevard and stole several items, including a purse and the keys to the Range Rover.

The burglary is the same incident Merritt reported yesterday.

Mace said Villareal is also a suspect in a string of other burglaries and vehicle thefts in the area.

Kudos for using the word “burglary” over “robbery”.

Just seeing this and I’m a little freaked out. I have an across the street neighbor that I have been having issues with by this name. Can we get a pic?

The UP P.D? spokesperson needs a lesson on “allegedly,” I would allege.
