Belle Mom Wants Letter to Walter Kelly

From the reader mail bag.

Merritt-It seems like you use your column to write letters to people all the time. Why haven’t you written one to Walter Kelly? I just have to read what you’d say to him.

I don’t write letters to people “all the time.” I mean, a few here and there like to police officers, Germans, former U.S. Presidents, pedophiles, room moms, very cool moms, eco-moms, boozer moms, volamoms, parents of wild children, Mr. Bohac, Santa Claus, men in the carpool line, lifelong Parkies, F-bomb droppin’ punks, people born after 1987, teachers, Steve Mace, that lady at the movie theatre, my kids and their friends.

Belle Mom, does this work?

    I have a list of people you could write letters to starting with: Entitled transplant Park Cities Moms or how about school board mmember who threatens residents in voice mails & then coincidentally resigns. Then to the older receptionist at the high school who wears toe rings – yes, plural. That has to be against some kind of code, at any age. I’ve got more for you, Merritt but how about you start with the one to our own newly transplanted, Mr. Walter Kelly? Thanks a mil!

    Curious to me how a guy that has been here seven months can accept the resignation (fire) an excellent Belle director who has been here almost 7 years! The politics of this is written on the wall! Dont like the guy but you almost have to feel sorry for him. I truly believe he is damned if he does damned if he doesnt. Good luck Mr. Kelly …. your going to need it!
