Eryn Blair Humphrey and Joshua Mac Springer WeddingEryn Blair Humphrey and Joshua Mac Springer exchanged wedding vows Feb. 19 at Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas. The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Bill Lamberth. A reception followed at the Hickory Street Annex.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Jay Hudson Humphrey and the late Mr. Jay Hudson Humphrey of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Gene Dawson of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frances Humphrey of Dallas.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Mac Springer of Dallas. He is the grandson of Mr. E.E. Stockdale and the late Mrs. Stockdale of Dallas and Mrs. Mac Springer and the late Mr. Mac Springer of Abilene.

The bride chose a full-skirted, ivory gown made of silky dupioni with a sweetheart neckline and chapel-length train. The dress was highlighted by an ivory, cap-sleeved, lace overlay and accented with a champagne silk sash designed by Monique Lhuillier. The bride wore an ivory, chapel-length veil, accented with hand-embroidered alençon lace and seed pearls, which had been worn previously by the groom’s mother. She carried a bouquet of pure white hydrangeas, in memory of her father, whose favorite flowers were always white hydrangeas.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, in honor of her late father. Attending as maid of honor was Jordan Anders Humphrey, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Stefanie Reiss Humphrey, Jessica Merritt LaRue, Sara Hawkins Lewis, Abigail Perry Powell, Mary Taylor Springer, Shelby Shelton Tuttle, and Hannah Templeton Williams.

Timothy Shane Springer and Jonathan Clay Springer, brothers of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen included Taylor Mark Bergstrom, Grant William Hooper, Bryce Dawson Humphrey, James Mac Leavell, David Ross Long, and Benjamin Robert Woody. Ushers were Alex Samuel Hammond, Blake Austin Michelson, Adam James Minton, Justin Arnold Schoellkopf, and Zachary Steven Sitzes. Members of the house party included Mary Leigh Carter, Amanda Carol Horner, Megan Harris Michelson, and Hannah Elise Sprague.

The bride graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in education; she also graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University with a Master of Science in education. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She is a first-grade teacher at Armstrong Elementary.

The groom graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in economics and marketing. He was a member of Kappa Omega Tau fraternity. He is employed by Watson & Taylor Management.

Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the newlyweds reside in Dallas.
