Here’s The Cutest Undefeated Team You’ll Ever See

Allow me to introduce the University Park Elementary Polka Dots. The team was undefeated in both the fall and spring seasons, winning 14 games in a row as they captured the Park Cities YMCA kindergarten girls championship. The girls on the back row are McKenna Green, Brooke Barnes, Finley Galvin, Sophia Kvale, Lauren Laquey, Scarlett Calvert, and Mia Green. The girls in front are Margo Flint, Reece Woolsey, Penelope Maddox, and Logan Parette. Missing from the picture is Alexis Laurie.

    I’m glad to see that the Kindergarten soccer league is concerned about scores and not teaching girls to enjoy the sport. This is exactly the WRONG message to send to parents and players alike.

    Wow. I love anonymous comments like the one above. Without knowing any of the facts, “Anonymous” can just make a blanket statement condeming all those that commit coutless hours teaching the girls to not only love soccer, but to understanding and appreciating that hard work and dedication results in success. The faces on those girls in the picture sure look like they do not “enjoy the sport”. Thank goodness this comminity has people like “Anonymous” to tell us all from his or her ivory tower what is and what is not the right message to send to parents and players.
