Plaza Businesses on The Move

To prepare for the impended construction at The Plaza at Preston Center, affected businesses are moving around the plaza. A quick list:

American Express Travel is now located at 4009 E. Northwest Parkway, next to New Balance.

Corner Bakery will soon move to 8420 Preston Center Plaza.

Lucky Dog Barkery expanded, and is now located at 8320 Preston Center Plaza Drive.

Matthew Trent will temporarily relocate to 8300 Preston Road, Suite 400. The temporary store will open sometime this month.

Montana Salon moved to 8407 Pickwick Lane.

Occhiali Modern Optics will be temporarily moving to 8300 Preston Road, Suite 310.

Whew.

Why is Occhiali moving? They aren’t in that block of buildings where the construction is suppose to happen.

Looks like Occhiali is moving to “allow better access and visibility during construction,” per a Plaza spokeswoman. Makes sense.

@Not Tex Mex – They will not be moving. When I spoke with a manager in the fall, he said they were hesitant about the construction, but said it would make the Plaza better in the end.

Bradford thank you. As you can tell I am only interested in food. My kids love Corner Bakery for breakfast.

I agree with ld, a map would be helpful if there is anyway to see one.
