Jenna Weiberg and James Walter exchanged wedding vows May 29 at the Walter Family Ranch in Mineola, Texas. Pastor Todd Stewman officiated the ceremony. A tented reception with dining and dancing followed at the ranch.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Weiberg of Walnut Creek, Calif. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Latta of Wichita, Kan,. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dale Weiberg of Anthony, Kan.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Walter of University Park. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hall Hammond of San Antonio and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Walter of University Park.

The bride chose a gown by New York bridal couturier, Ulla-Maija. The strapless gown was made of the finest floral-design French lace. It had a fitted bodice and fluted skirt with tiny, fabric-covered buttons running along the back. To finish her look, the bride chose a cathedral-length veil with a finished edge and a silk, floral headpiece with feathers.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted down the aisle by her father. Attending as maids of honor were Margaret Newman and Caroline Wagner. Bridesmaids included Georgia Dealey, Mallory Shary, Emily Walter, Erika Weiberg, and Gracey Winters.

Serving the groom as best man was Patrick Walter, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Harris Britt, David Foose, Ben Paschal, David Rain, Robert Shannon, Jere Thompson, and William Walter. Ushers included Michael Balcolm, Thomas Hill, Cody Little, Garrick Smith, and Garrett Weiberg. Courtney Comiskey, Christina Hamilton, and Staley Hawkins were members of the house party. Flower girls were Jayden and Ella Weiberg, and the ring bearers were Graham and Miles Hammond.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Highland Park High School, and in 2011 received a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi women’s fraternity.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Highland Park High School. He received his Bachelor’s degrees in Plan II Honors and finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, was an elected member of the oldest academic honor society in the nation, and was also a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. The groom is employed by the Boston Consulting Group of Dallas.

Following their wedding trip to St. Barthelemy,  French West Indies, the newlyweds will reside in Dallas.
