Alison Chapman and Trey Fly exchanged wedding vows May 14 at St. Luke’s on the Lake Episcopal Church in Austin. The Rev. Cannon John Newton officiated. A reception followed at the University of Texas Golf Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rostell Chapman of Bryan, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Chapman and Mrs. Veta Frenzel, also of Bryan.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe W. Fly Jr. of Austin. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe W. Fly Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl H. Hunt of Dallas.

The bride chose a magnificent strapless gown designed by Melissa Sweet. The ivory silk organza was embellished with fine embroidery and delicate lace. The bride completed her ensemble with a champagne silk sash and cathedral-length veil.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Her father escorted her down the aisle. Attending as matron of honor was Lauren Turner, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Regina Munson. Bridesmaids included Megan Denton, Allison Houser, Lacy Mackey, and Zahra Petri. Members of the house party included Nikki Anders, Molly Fly, Bekah Graf, Tanya Smalling, and Melissa Tucker.

Serving the groom as best man was Joe Fly, father of the groom. Groomsmen included Will Denton, Will Fawcett, Colin McConnell, Dan Meyer, Will Rogers, and Geoff Shelton. Ushers were Beau Brooks, King Cone, Kemper Cowden, Graham Douglass, Hunt Foster, John Gregg, Rider Knouse, Marshall Smith, and Travis Turner. Flower girls were Ella Foster and Aubrey Turner.

The bride is a graduate of Bryan High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in business from Texas A&M University. She received her master’s degree in international business from St. Edward’s University in Austin.

The groom is a graduate of Highland Park High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and the Texas Cowboys. He is in commercial and industrial sales at Joe W. Fly Company.

Following a wedding trip to Antigua, West Indies, the newlyweds reside in Austin.
