Parkies Can Earn Points in Wedding Game
Katie Baker, a staff writer for Grantland.com, has devised a NUPTIALS (Names, Universities, Parents, Tropes, Identifiers, Avocations, Locales, and Special Situations) algorithm for determining who’s “winning” in The New York Times’ “Weddings/Celebrations” section. According to her system, an announcement gets one point if either of the betrothed went to SMU, and another point is earned if “Highland Park, Texas” is mentioned in any capacity.
