UP Council Mum on Chase Bank Project

After an hour of closed-door deliberation and discussion Thursday morning, the University Park City Council took no action toward a new proposal by Legacy Hillcrest.

Late Friday, attorneys for the project presented a plan for a four-story parking garage on the parking lot section of the Chase Bank property. City staff is currently reviewing the building permit application.

The city called a special council meeting to discuss the proposal; the majority of the meeting — save for a brief introduction and adjournment — took place in closed session.

For more information on the proposed garage, see today’s Park Cities People.
