Strangest Yard Sign I’ve Seen All Year

This is the house with the great flowers just north of Snider Plaza. I know there’s a new TV show called Pan Am, but why’s it being promoted in this yard? It’s not like I have a huge Terra Nova banner in front of my house (but I might if tonight’s series premiere is as awesome as the commercials).

Passed by this sign during my AM run……thought it was odd also. Any updates? I am beyond curious….

It will join the Station Wagons of Turtle Creek as one of the great mysteries of the Park Cities…

it seems to me that it is a non-conforming sign
and subject to fines from the city of university park.

the station wagons were not a mystery, they were stagg renz’s obsession.

Carl worked for Pan Am and has that sign from those days. He thought it’d be fun to dust it off and put it on the front lawn. :)

Carl was a local sales rep for Pan Am for many years.

I wonder what the difference between postmodern art and non-conforming signs is according to UP?
