Meet Bevo This Friday

Last year, I was just a Yankee in your backyard. Now, I’ve lived here for a year, eaten chicken-fried steak, and forgotten what it feels like to be cold. Texas forever!

That picture was taken at last year’s Bevo meet and greet, at Brenda Sandoz’s house on Stanford Avenue. She’s opening up her front yard again, and welcoming the neighbors with some burgers and Bevo. Festivities kick off around 11:30 a.m. Friday at 2936 Stanford and run through 1 p.m.; all are welcome.
