Hockaday Dad Gets Face Time at World Series

OK, Daisies, whose dad is this? I want to thank him for relieving my extreme ninth-inning tension by making me say, “Hey, look — Hockaday!”

People were reporting it is Mavs’ coach, Rick Carlisle. He has a daughter at Hockaday. Even stopped by the school with the trophy. http://www.hockaday.org/podium/default.aspx?t=204&nid=611077

Looks like Rick to me…what a cool lid for him to wear to the game!

It does look a lot like him. But I didn’t think such a relatively new transplant to Dallas would be so invested in the Rangers. Or maybe he’s a Cardinals fan?

I noticed that hat last night watching the game, too. It definitely looks like Carlisle.

It may be him, he is friends with Tony LaRussa. There is a story floating around about Tony asking him about what it takes to win a championship and Carlisle saying put in Dirk. More to the point Carlisle said he was not dumb enough to tell LaRussa how to beat the Rangers when Carlisle had to go back to the area to coach.
