Don’t Worry: Detective Justice Is On The Case

While flipping through the police reports today, I came across a line that struck me as either a.) a misprint, or b.) the greatest sentence to ever grace a Highland Park DPS report:

“Detective Justice arrived to process the crime scene.”

After a minute of digging, I found that HPDPS does, in fact, have a detective named Justice.

Justice, Catherine Justice.

If this is her maiden name, was she pegged to enter law enforcement from birth? And, if this is her married name, which came first, the police career or the marriage? So many questions!

When I brought this up to Dan, he mentioned a DMN staffer had the name Will Pry. Any other profession-specific names out there?

Not a profession-specific name; but I knew a girl named Candy, who after marriage, ended up Candy Cane.

That’s nothing. I have twin distant cousins named Brick and Stone Wall.
