Can someone explain why this game is in Waco? It’s a 2+ hour bus ride for both teams. I can understand if HP were playing Pflugerville (TJT’s opponent in last round), but this is a little bit ridiculous (although not as ridiculous as when HP played Texarkana in Shreveport!). Was there no stadium available in Athens, Corsicana or even Kaufman?

Yeah, it’s up to the coaches to figure out where to play. The biggest thing is having to agree on a place that is also available. I think there are a couple of games in Corsicana this weekend. Waco is a little out of the way, but it’s actually further for John Tyler than it is for Highland Park.
