It’s 2012. How about let’s go ahead and put the term (and ethos of) “snarky” to death. Not euthanasia, mind you. An agonizingly painful death. Also: If you’re over 20 and you still think vandalism is funny, you might ask your doctor to check and see if you’re a jackass.

But feel free to post the most (or least) exciting bits with a little snarky humor. One of the nice things about living in such a relatively low crime area is the ability to poke fun at some of the things that make the blotter.

I know that putting soap in a fountain can actually damage it, but picturing 10 SMU police huddled around gathering evidence and water samples makes me chuckle.
