This weekend was a madhouse. I’ve had enough of the Katy Trail. It is too crowded, people are pushy, bikes (no offense Bradford) think they own the trail as do the double-wide strollers pushers. My neighborhood streets are just fine for running, strollering, and riding our bikes.

I was on it for a couple miles each way yesterday and passed a total of five people. Of course it was after 9pm!

As a famous catcher once said, “That place is so busy, noone goes there anymore.” The Katy Trail has too many people who are so self consumed (I’m talking about you, miss ipod listener while letting your dog’s leash extend across the trail) that they have no regard for other people’s safety or enjoyment. I won’t take my kids on there due to the numerous near misses we’ve had with others.
