HP to Interview Construction Managers Friday

Earlier this week, the Highland Park Town Council fired Gallagher Construction, citing issues with the biding process.

During the deliberation of Gallagher’s dismissal, Town Council members decided to hire a construction manager to oversee the entire construction process, from bid creation to project standards to pouring cement. On Monday morning, a town committee interviewed three potential CMs, and on Friday morning at 8 a.m., they’ll interview a fourth.

Meeting’s open to the public, so if you enjoy the intricacies of town government, head over to DPS’s third-floor conference room.

In my opinion, it would seem HP administration and anyone involved with this renovation would have been more aware and heads up about this matter, than to let so much time pass on such an important project worth millions of dollars of taxpayer $$$.

Yet, does it really take approximately six (6) HP DPS officers plus to surround (what appeared to me a man down on his luck) walking down Armstrong Parkway at around 7 a.m. yetserday?

From what I could tell, the guy had a couple of pillows. Just wondering?

    Good luck with the interview.
