Child Hit By Car Near Milton and Dickens Ave.

A concerned reader has informed us that around 4:20 p.m. a child was hit by a gold Infiniti at the corner of Milton and Dickens Avenue in University Park.

The child survived, according to the source.

Spokespeople with the city and UP police have no information at this time.

    Just heard this from the child’s mother:

    “Thank the Lord, other than lots of bumps and bruises she only broke a toe! Thank you for all your prayers!”

    Curious if any citations were issued for speeding, texting, etc. Drives me crazy seeing people on phones, texting and speeding in school zones if they don’t see a policeman sitting nearby. Preston is the worst. Westchester is another accident waiting to happen with all the high schoolers zipping to school and the high speeds of moms in SUV’s on Greenbrier.
