Troy, is That You?

While driving east on Armstrong yesterday, I noticed a man walking in the direction of my car. He had obviously come off the trail from a workout, as he was shirtless and sweaty. Nearing a four-way stop, I slowed down and actually looked up from his body to notice the face. It was none other than Highland Park resident and former Dallas Cowboy Troy Aikman. Just another day in HP!

    Yes, when in town he often walks between his home and the Katy Trail, usually shirtless in hot weather. He lends his support to the Trail’s fundraising efforts. He used to be seen occasionally in the HP Library children’s room with his daughters. Private person, but cordial.

    He’s always on the trail…saw him there all summer. No Big Deal. :)
