Kathleen’s Sky Diner is Closed

Nancy has the news.

My two cents: it’s always been fine. I, admittedly, missed its heyday, but every meal I ever ate there screamed “adequate.” Feel free to decimate me.

Adequate. Serviceable. Inoffensive. Decent for a cheap date, but rarely memorable. *sigh* I tried several times, I really did.

not surprising – but I hate to see local businesses close.

Nothing on their menu that couldn’t be prepared at home. Weak service. Waiters more interested in each other and their cell phones.

Agree with anon and Mom of 4. Inexcusably bad service, but hate seeing a local business close.

Never really inspired me to return. I went several times trying to get excited about it. Too bad. I did like their italian creme cake!

I can’t believe “Revel in our adequacity” didn’t work as a company motto.

    H/T to Phil Hartman.
