People Newspapers’ Parent Enters TV Business

By now, you may have heard this morning’s news about D-TV. This morning was when I first heard about it, despite there being a story about The Texas Daily in the current edition of Park Cities People. If I’d had any inkling that a partnership between People Newspapers’ parent company and KTXD was in the works when I assigned that story to Caitlin Adams, when Caitlin was writing it, or when I was editing it, then the story would have mentioned the impending partnership. But we didn’t know. So it wasn’t in there.

It’s English. What’s your problem with it?

Uh, Dan, it’s poorly written and grammatically incorrect. Too many poorly placed phrases make it hard to follow.
