This dedicated educator and current principal of Armstrong Elementary School has been influencing and inspiring students in Highland Park ISD since 1996 when he began teaching social studies at Highland Park High School. He went on to become the social studies department chair at HPHS, and graduated to assistant principal of McCulloch Intermediate School in 2005.

Moran won the coveted Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award in 2003, which according to Teacher Magazine is the “Oscars of Teaching.”

It’s not surprising therefore that he won your votes for People’s Choice Best Principal 2012.
