Vote For HPHS Student, Net the School $5k

Highland Park student Elizabeth Reynolds is one of 50 Texas Scholars this year, and if she can garner enough votes on behalf of herself and her school, HPHS will apparently get $5,000.

“Highland Park is one of the large schools represented,” the Reynolds family tells us in an email, “so get the word out to everyone.”

And with $5K we could please Jim Schutze and buy metal detectors:

I tend to trust the district on this one.
